For precise, low-impact vacuum cleaning
KP WTR systems are designed and built by IFP Europe to clean metal components with aqueous solutions while retaining a distinguishing feature of the entire KP Kleen Power range: vacuum processing, with operating cycles down to 1 mbar.
Unlike a conventional aqueous system, KP WTR combines the effectiveness of aqueous cleaning solutions with the precision of vacuum cleaning. It offers programmable software for cycle control, remote function monitoring and options for custom technical configurations.
KP WTR is suitable for oxide removal, pickling and specific requirements involving contaminants or stains. It delivers consistent results even at high production volumes and with challenging contamination.
KP WTR systems are built entirely from stainless steel and operate in a closed loop: the cleaning liquids never come into direct contact with the external environment during the process. This configuration reduces both the risk of fluid loss and the need for frequent manual work.
The system meets Industry 4.0 standards, MOCA requirements and ISO 16232 and VDA 19 requirements, which are often requested in automotive manufacturing, precision components and surface treatment.
The KP WTR basket system is designed in-house by IFP Europe with FAMI modularity to simplify storage, logistics and the organization of the cleaning department. The baskets are made from stainless steel wire and sized for each machine model, from the most compact versions to those designed for larger loads.
Every KP WTR system comes with two cleaning-liquid storage tanks and an integrated filtration system as standard. A third tank is available as an option for even greater flexibility in cycle management.
Systems in the KP WTR range:
The filtration, purification and stripping system prevents the generation of harmful waste, while the absence of shutdowns for routine maintenance keeps production running. Machine functions can also be monitored remotely, with the option of requesting remote technical support.
Optional ultrasonic transducers are available for the KP WTR range. They are useful for more stubborn solid contaminants, such as oxides or residues that are difficult to remove with aqueous cleaning alone. IFP Europe’s technicians work with customers to determine the best configuration for the contamination involved.

The four versions cover different production volumes, from small batches to heavier loads, while retaining the technical features of the KP Kleen Power range.
KP WTR systems can be fitted with a manual loading station using free rollers to make basket loading and unloading easier (up to 12 baskets at a time, depending on the model).
Protect automation is also available for the KP 100, 150 and 200 WTR. It handles two to four baskets simultaneously using an automated tray and lid, with the option of automatic load recognition. All loading, unloading and cleaning operations are managed through an IFP Europe control station with a touchscreen and software developed in-house to meet Industry 4.0 standards.
The KP WTR range is used in a variety of manufacturing sectors:
Explore cleaning applications by industry.
Each KP WTR system can be configured for specific production and quality requirements, with additional options such as custom loading automation, robotic systems, extra drying equipment or the application of protective agents to cleaned components.
KP WTR uses aqueous solutions rather than solvents while retaining the vacuum process found throughout the KP Kleen Power range. The choice between water and solvent depends on the contamination to be removed. For different requirements, IFP Europe also offers the solvent-based KP HMA range and the hybrid KP HYBRID range.
KP WTR systems comply with Industry 4.0 standards, MOCA requirements for materials in contact with treated surfaces, and ISO 16232 and VDA 19, which are often required in automotive manufacturing, precision components and surface treatment.
KP WTR systems can save up to 40% in energy through optimized cleaning cycles and reduce cleaning agent consumption by up to 95% compared with conventional solutions. They also recover up to 99% of waste materials through filtration, purification and stripping.
KP WTR is used for small precision turned and machined components, automotive parts, hydraulic components, gears, die castings and sintered parts, valves and fittings, watch and jewelry components, and heat exchangers.
Yes. Optional ultrasonic transducers are available for the KP WTR range and help remove tougher solid contaminants, such as oxides or residues that are difficult to remove with aqueous cleaning alone. IFP Europe’s technicians determine the configuration based on the contamination to be treated.
