There’s something new in the spirit of Evolution. At MECSPE 2024 we arrived with a new machine that brought renewed enthusiasm and momentum toward our vision of 5.0 technology, defined by a design that’s both more refined and minimalist.
With Re-Action, we launched a new machine from the KP Kleen Power series on the industrial washing market: the KP 100 HMA, the start of an evolution that embraces the three Rs of the circular economy: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
The most advanced technology reaches its full expression through design, ease of use, safety and solidity. Innovation and sustainability can travel together.
The latest generation of the KP industrial parts washer is a leap forward for a market that demands continuous progress toward more advanced human-machine interaction. More than a product, it’s our way of leading the transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0.
Re-Action brings to life IFP Europe’s vision of a future where technological progress goes hand in hand with environmental responsibility, showing that every new product is a step toward a more sustainable world, a requirement championed by Industry 5.0.
We refined the technology rather than overhauling it, with many improvements that optimize the efficiency and safety of cleaning operations and boost performance for energy savings and further reductions in consumption and waste. We also focused on operational efficiency: installation times and washing cycles have been significantly reduced.
The main innovations include:
With simple forms and parallels between craftsmanship and innovative technology, in an interplay of irregularity and asymmetry. Minimalism and essential lines are non-negotiable in our design. So is our careful attention to color: steel and tone-on-tone gray contrasting with black, and matte finishes. And so is our own take on ethics and sustainability.
IFP machines look good. We’ve always believed that bringing function and aesthetics together in mechanical engineering was a new idea, and one with enormous appeal. The design of the new KP 100 HMA features black elements with fine-perforated metal mesh, details that bring out its geometric shapes and volumes. The design conveys compactness and solidity in depth, and at the same time we chose to make the forms even softer. The automation area has been reduced, making the complete machine more compact and saving space.
What happens when an artist stands in front of a blank canvas? The instinct is to paint it. This year at our MECSPE stand, that happened too, except the blank canvas was the surface of the new machine.
The live performance by artist Fabio Baggio Bajo continued the gesture that started it all, the visual communication of our new project: a brushstroke that gave rise to two faces on the white surface of the new KP 100.
What did Bajo depict? What did he want to express? For Bajo, “the face is no longer simply a part of the body. It takes on a narrative role, because it ‘tells’ who a person is, with all their many intimate truths, leading to a distorted style of painting, at times deformed to the point of caricature.”
An artistic gesture can bring machinery to life.
