A combined water- and alcohol-based cleaning process, specially formulated to thoroughly prepare Treemme’s fittings for PVD coating

To maintain the high finishing quality for which it is internationally renowned, Rubinetterie Treemme has recently installed three IFP Europe cleaning plants: one for intermediate cleaning of brass components before polishing, and two, one using water and the other a modified alcohol solution, dedicated to preparing the parts prior to PVD metallising.

Until recently, bathrooms were regarded as relatively unimportant spaces. Yet in just a few years, they have evolved from purely functional rooms into areas dedicated to well-being and living, where aesthetics, comfort, and attention to detail have become essential. This change has also extended to taps and other products that characterise bathroom design, transforming basic elements into genuine pieces of furniture. It is therefore no longer just about form and function: colours and finishes are now integral to the bathroom’s overall aesthetics and contribute to its perceived value. Rubinetterie Treemme, a company specialising in the production of designer sanitaryware and fittings, has long recognised this: its idea of promoting the use of colour, launched with the Arcobaleno collection featuring handles in a variety of shades, dates back to 1980.
