IFP Europe Is Officially B Corp Certified

A major milestone in a journey that began three years ago.

IFP Europe Is Officially B Corp Certified: a major milestone in a journey that began three years ago.

B Lab's independent verification recognizes IFP Europe's commitment and achievements in environmental, social and governance performance.

It's official. IFP Europe has achieved B Corp Certification.

This recognition acknowledges how a company creates value, not only through its financial performance but also through its impact on people, communities, the environment and customers.

IFP Europe has thus become the first company in the world specializing in industrial metal cleaning systems to achieve B Corp Certification.

The certification is awarded by B Lab, an international nonprofit organization, following a rigorous assessment process based on the B Impact Assessment. Achieving certification requires more than meeting the minimum threshold of 80 points: data, processes and supporting documentation undergo thorough independent verification.

Joining the B Corp community therefore means becoming part of a still relatively small group of companies committed to measuring, reporting and continuously improving their impact (approximately 400 companies in Italy and 11,000 worldwide).

A Journey Built Over Time

The certification marks the culmination of a journey that began in 2023, when the company adopted its Code of Ethics and implemented an Organization, Management and Control Model in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, along with a whistleblowing procedure.

In November 2025, when IFP Europe became an Italian Benefit Corporation (Società Benefit), its shareholders incorporated three binding non-financial objectives into the company's Articles of Association: monitoring greenhouse gas emissions, tracking the proportion of energy sourced from renewables, and periodically measuring employee satisfaction. In March 2026, the company also published its first Sustainability Report.

During the same period, IFP Europe achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system, obtained certification under ISO 14025:2006 and secured an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The company is currently in the final audit stage for ISO 14001 environmental management system certification, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

The Numbers Behind the Journey

IFP Europe's most tangible contribution to sustainability comes from its technology itself. Its vacuum cleaning technology reduces energy consumption by 45–50% compared with conventional systems and enables the recovery of up to 99% of waste materials, which can be reintroduced into the production cycle or sent for recycling.

This approach makes industrial cleaning processes more efficient and sustainable. It was also a key element in B Lab's assessment, as it falls within one of the Impact Business Models recognized by the organization.

These technological benefits are complemented by IFP Europe's ongoing efforts to progressively reduce the environmental impact of its own operations.

The photovoltaic system installed in 2024 generated 103,490 kWh in 2025, bringing the share of energy from renewable sources to 40%. Since March 2026, the company's entire electricity supply has been covered by renewable energy certificates of origin.

Over the same period, emissions intensity decreased by 8%, from 3.46 to 3.18 tCO₂e per million euros in revenue, despite revenue growth.

The certification also recognized IFP Europe's commitment to its employees and customers.

The annual employee engagement survey, conducted among the company's 70 employees, recorded a median score of 3.57 out of 5, with a participation rate of 95%. On the customer side, the Customer Satisfaction Survey conducted in December 2025 recorded an average score of 8 out of 10.

What Does This Mean in Practice for Companies Working with Us?

>For companies operating in CNC turning, small precision components manufacturing, automotive, metal stamping, precision engineering, aerospace, medical devices and luxury goods, B Corp Certification provides independent third-party assurance of how IFP Europe operates and the impact of the solutions it develops.

This is therefore much more than a formal recognition.

For customers, choosing IFP Europe means investing in industrial cleaning solutions that combine sustainability, operational efficiency and economic benefits, helping make manufacturing processes more efficient and competitive.

As ESG requirements increasingly extend across entire supply chains, the ability to measure and document environmental and social performance is becoming more valuable at every stage of the value chain.

A Starting Point, Not a Finish Line

The journey does not end with certification.

IFP Europe's ESG plan includes a target to reduce Scope 2 emissions by 20% over the next three years, while completion of the ISO 14001 certification process is expected by the end of 2026.

B Corp Certification therefore represents not the end of a journey, but a new benchmark from which to continue improving.
