The focus of this Innovation Story is IFP Europe, a high-tech company specializing in metal washing systems. Giacomo Sabadin, company owner, and Alberto Gobbo, founder of IFP Europe, chose to become partners of the UniSMART Community, launching an innovation consulting program.
The collaboration then led to a solution for cutting the emissions generated during the washing process of the KP HMA 100 small metal parts washer. The entire study was carried out by the Giorgio Levi Cases Center for Energy Economics and Technology at the University of Padua.
“We need to think about, and believe in, the alliance between research and product design. Technology, sustainability and design are what true innovation means for a company.”
Giacomo Sabbadin, General Manager of IFP Europe
